As concerns about environmental sustainability continue to grow, schools play a crucial role in educating and empowering the next generation to be environmentally conscious citizens.
The World Malayalee Council, Gujarat Province took the initiative to support Amma’s vision of Vishu Thaineettam. In relation to that a large delegation of WMC office bearers led by Global Secretary, Gujarat -Shri. Dinesh Nair, WMC Gujarat Chairman Shri. Rajan A M along with other WMC members took part in the Vishu celebrations which was organized in the lush green lawn of Amrita Vidyalayam. The WMC members distributed saplings to the students and staff as an effective way to foster environmental awareness and inculcates a sense of responsibility towards nature. It instills values of environmental stewardship, encourages a sense of ownership and pride among students, and helps them develop a deeper connection with nature.
