Independence Day

The celebration started off with the hoisting of the National Flag by our Honourable Principal, Brahmacharini Umaji. Staff, parents and students enthusiastically participated in the celebration. After the flag hoisting, the Principal addressed the gathering about the sanctity of the occasion. Teachers followed suit and gave speeches in four different languages (Sanskrit, Hindi, Gujarati and English). There was equal participation from the parent body and students. Towards the end, patriotic songs were sung by the students of Amrita Vidyalayam. The celebration came to an end with the singing of our National Anthem.
