DIWALI CELEBRATION/SWEET SHARING DAY

23/10/2019

  • Diwali or Deepawali, the festival of light symbolizes the victory of good over evil and glory of light. The students of Amrita Nursery celebrated Diwali on 23rd October 2019. Teachers decorated the activity room and corridor with vibrant rangoli designs and diyas. Children came dressed in new traditional attires, excited and awaited for the celebrations to begin. It was a morning filled with fun and joy. Teachers welcomed students with warm Diwali wishes in a traditional way. As part of good values associated with Diwali the children shared sweets with their classmates and learnt that sharing is indeed caring. They were also encouraged to make diwali cards for their parents. Students were sensitized about the ill effects of crackers and were guided to celebrate “GREEN DIWALI” NO CRACKERS, NO POLLUTION …. JUST PURE FUN. Children returned home with happy faces and ready to enjoy their holidays.
