The term Rakshabhandan means “A Knot of Protection”.
The festival of Raksha Bandhan is a symbol of purity of relationship between brothers and sisters. Rakhi making activity was conducted for classes I to X. Students made beautiful rakhis of different colors, shapes, using different materials. The competition saw a number of creative and fascinating rakhis being made by the students. Later on these rakhis were displayed in the classes for everyone to see which was appreciated by one and all.
