To develop deeper understanding of the concepts, scientific temperament and experiential learning among the young minds of our nation the students of third year Civil Engineering had organized an exhibition in the University campus in the second week of April. The 10th and 12th standard students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Ahmedabad visited the exhibition venue on ‘Civil Engineering’, 12th April 2019, between 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The student’s representative of the University welcomed and escorted the students to the venue. The students of Amrita Vidyalayam were divided into 3 groups. They were accommodated in 3 classrooms, where 3rd year students had given a presentation on Civil Engineering for 20 minutes. The students were then again divided into 7 groups and each group was directed by 2 engineering students. All the concepts were explained with demos by the students. The concept of integration of aesthetics and science had captured many of our student’s attention. This kind of exhibition definitely enables young citizens to see the multi-disciplinary links between subjects, topics and real life.
